New York born character actor who gained world recognition & an Oscar for his portrayal of a young Vito Corleone in the Mafia epic “The Godfather Part II”. Robert went on to win a second Oscar for his portrayal of prizefighter Jake Lamotta in Martin Scorsese’s “Raging Bull”.

Sally Field:
This cute young girl from Pasadena became the star of 2 popular 60’s TV series’, “Gidget” & “The Flying Nun” before easing into feature films ( “The Way West”, “Smokey & The Bandit” & “Hooper”)  & later going on to win two Oscars, one for “Norma Rae” (80) & one for “Places In The Heart” (85).

Tom Hanks:
Extremely versatile & talented actor whose early career began with comedic roles on Television (Bosom Buddies) & in film (Bachelor Party, Splash & Dragnet). Tom got his first Oscar nomination for “Big” (1988) & later won 2 back to back Oscars for “Philadelphia” & “Forrest Gump” (1994).

Vivien Leigh:
This Oscar winning actress, who was once married to Laurence Olivier, won her 2 “Best Actress” Academy Awards for her roles in 2 of the most acclaimed films of the last century, as Scarlett O’Hara in “Gone With The Wind” (1939) & as Blanche DuBois in “A Streetcar Named Desire” (1951).

Gene Hackman:
After a stint in the marine corps, Hackman tried his hand at journalism before deciding, at age 30, to give acting a try.  About 10 yrs. later, this intense, versatile actor won his 1st Oscar(72) playing a tough as nails cop in “The French Connection”. In 1993 he won a 2nd Oscar for his work in “Unforgiven”

Ingrid Bergman:
Swedish born actress who starred in a few foreign films before gaining world attention opposite Bogart in “Casablanca” (1942). Ingrid went on to establish herself as an accomplished actress with 3 Oscar wins, Gaslight (44), Anastasia (56) & Murder On The Orient Express (74).

Jane Fonda:
Daughter of famous Hollywood actor Henry Fonda & winner of 2 Best Actress Oscars (“Klute” & “Coming Home”). After a 14 year hiatus from films Jane is scheduled to make a big screen comeback opposite Jennifer Lopez in the romantic comedy “Monster-in-law” (2004).

Marlon Brando:
Arguably the greatest actor of our time, Brando  won his first Oscar for “On The Waterfront” (55) after 3 consecutive nominations for “Streetcar Named Desire” (52),“Viva Zapata”
(53) & “Julius Caesar” (54)  Brando won his 2nd Oscar for his work in the Mafia epic “The Godfather” (73).

Jessica Lange:
Daughter of a traveling salesman who got her big break when she was cast in the 1976 remake of “King Kong”. Jessica went on to win critical acclaim with 2 Academy Awards, firstly a “Best Supporting Actress Oscar” for “Tootsie” (83) & secondly a “Best Actress Oscar” for “Blue Sky” (95).

Jack Nicholson:
Accomplished actor who has left his mark by winning Oscars in three consecutive decades, in the 1970’s “One Flew Of The Cuckoo’s” (76), in the 1980’s “Terms Of Endearment” (84) & in the 1990’s “As Good As It Gets” (98). Jack has now set his sight on another win in the new millennium.

Meryl Streep:
After a handful of small appearances in TV movies, Meryl got her big break & her first Oscar nomination for her work in the critically acclaimed film “The Deer Hunter” (79). Within the next few years Meryl had won 2 Academy Awards for “Kramer vs. Kramer” (80) & “Sophie’s Choice” (83).

Denzel Washington:
In the 1980’s Denzel made a name for himself as Dr. Chandler in the TV series “St. Elsewhere” (1982-88). By the end of the decade his big screen film career gained momentum with his powerful Oscar winning performance in “Glory”   (89).  In 2001 he won a 2nd Oscar for “Training Day”.

Hilary Swank:
After a handful of TV roles during the 90’s, Hilary got her big break when she was cast in the title role of “The Next Karate Kid” (1994). She later went on to win 2 “Best Actress Oscars” both for tough gal performances in “Boy’s Don’t Cry” (99) & the Eastwood boxing flick “Million Dollar Baby” (05).
