Marlon Brando:
Brando had the distinction of starring in the most famous gangster movie of them all, “The Godfather”. His performance as Don Vito Corleone won him the “Best Actor Oscar” at the 1973 Academy Awards. In 1990 Marlon did a parody of his “Godfather” role in the comedy, “The Freshman”.

Charles Bronson:
Bronson’s early career consisted of small parts in a string of 1950’s crime flicks but it wasn’t until he won the starring role in Roger Corman’s “Machine Gun Kelly” (1958) that Charlie gained real notice. In the 1970’s Bronson returned to the gangster genre for “The Valachi Papers” (1972).   

Warren Beatty:
Shirley Maclaine’s pretty boy brother, Warren, found his signature role playing gangster Clyde Barrow in the critically acclaimed crime drama “Bonnie & Clyde” (1967). In the 90’s Beatty returned  to the gangster genre as Bugsy Siegel in Barry Levinson’s mobster epic “Bugsy” (91).

Alain Delon:
Delon’s international film career saw him playing a variety of gangsters, hoods & thieves. Some of Alain’s most memorable crime dramas include, “Any Number Can Win” (1963), “Once A Thief” (1965), “The Godson” (67), “The Sicilian Clan” (1969), “Borsalino”
(70) & “The Gang” (1977).

James Caan:
Cann’s career reached an all-time high when he was cast as Brando’s fiery son, Sonny Corleone in “The Godfather” (1972). James would later poke fun at his gangster image in films such as “Honeymoon In Vegas” (1992) with Nicolas Cage & “Mickey Blue Eyes”
(1999) with Hugh Grant.

Ray Liotta
James Cagney

Robert De Niro:
De Niro is the veteran of the gangster flick, most notably, “Mean Streets”  (1973), “The Godfather Part II” (1974), “Once Upon A Time In America”  (84), “The Untouchables”
(87), “Goodfellas” (90), “A Bronx Tale” (93), “Casino”   (1995), “Analyze This” (99) & “Analyze That” (2002).

Al Pacino:
Pacino’s signature role was that of gangster Michael Corleone, youngest son of Don Vito Corelone, in the epic Mafia trilogy “The Godfather (1972 - 1990). Al’s other notable gangster flicks include, “Scarface”
(1983), “Dick Tracy” (90), “Carlito’s Way” (1993) & “Donnie Brasco”  (1997).

Harvey Keitel:
Keitel got his big break with a starring role in Scorsese’s mobster pic “Mean Streets”
(73). Other notable mob roles followed, as Bugsy Siegel, in “The Virginia Hill Story” (1974), as Mickey Cohen in “Bugsy” (1991), as Mr. White in “Reservoir Dogs” (92) & as “The Wolf” in “Pulp Fiction” (1994). 

Ray Liotta:
This intense, New Jersey born character actor with the handsome face & pockmarked features has specialized in playing creepy bad guys that hide behind an innocent charm. Ray’s most notable films include, “Goodfellas”, “Unlawful Entry”, “Narc”, “Turbulence” & “Cop Land”.

James Cagney:
One of Hollywood’s big names of the 1930’s & 40’s who gained a reputation playing tough, fast-talking, gangster-types in a string of popular mobster flicks  such as “The Doorway To Hell” (1930),“The Public Enemy” (1931), “Smart Money” (31), “Lady Killer”
(33) & “White Heat” (49).
