Australian born actor who established himself as a Hollywood swashbuckler & matinee star of the 1930’s, 40’s & 50’s  in films such as “Captain Blood”, “The Sea Hawk”, “The Adventures Of Robin Hood”, “The Master Of Ballantrae”, “The Dark Avenger” & “William Tell”.

Handsome, British born actor from a showbiz family whose career began with small appearances in the 1930’s & 40’s before easing into starring roles in the 1950’s such as “The Desert Hawk”, “Lorna Doone”, “Captain Scarlet” & later the TV Robin Hood series. 

Kevin Costner:                          After a few  brief film appearances  in the early 80’s, Kevin gained notice as a fast shooting young cowboy in Silverado, before hitting the big time in films such as “No Way Out”, “The Untouchables”, “Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves” & the Oscar winning drama “Dances With Wolves”.

After small roles in British films (“Yesterday’s Hero”, “Another Country”, “Lady Jane”) Cary got his big break in the US fairy tale adventure “The Princess Bride”. Other roles followed including, “Glory”,  “Robin Hood Men In Tights”, “The Crush” and “Hot Shots”.

After a handful of small roles it was inevitable that this handsome Hollywood hunk would make it as a matinee star in costume epics such as “Rouges Of Sherwood Forest” & “The Mask Of The Avenger”. He later wed Ursula Andress, Linda Evans & Bo Derek.

English born stage actor who was performing in “The Pirates Of Penzance” at London’s West End when he was spotted by producers who were casting a new Robin Hood for TV’s “Robin Of Sherwood”. Other roles in TV (Dynasty) & film (Nightflyers) followed.

Irish math teacher who was in his late 30’s when he made his big screen film debut opposite Pierce Brosnan “Taffin”. Other acting roles soon followed, most notably, “Sleeping With The Enemy”, “ Robin Hood”, “Patriot Games” & “Amazons & Gladiators”.

David Hedison
The Son Of Robin Hood
After playing the title role in the 50’s sci-fi flick “The Fly”, David was cast in the swashbuckler “The Son Of Robin Hood”. David is also remembered for playing Felix Leiter in 2 Bond films “Live And Let Die” with Roger Moore & “License To Kill” with Timothy Dalton.

Son of 007 star Sean Connery, this tall, blue eyed, blonde haired, Englishman took over the role of TV’s Robin Hood  from actor Michael Praed in the 3rd season of “Robin Of Sherwood”. In 1990 Jason starred  in “Spymaker: The Secret Life Of Ian Fleming”
